Škoda TVC continues the rich tradition of Škoda plants in Pilsen.
History
The founder of these plants, Emil Škoda (*1839-†1900), transformed a small factory into a company that was one of the largest engineering plants in Europe in the 19th century and the most important arms factory of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
In the 20th century, Škoda’s plants were the largest engineering establishment in Czechoslovakia producing equipment for energy, railway technology, manufacturing industry, machine tools and other engineering fields.
Škoda TVC was founded in 2000.
Present
Škoda TVC is a member of the Škoda Group, working closely with partner companies within the group as well as its current external customers outside the Škoda Group. The company also offers its know-how and free production capacities to new potential customers.
The company currently has 90 employees, performing about 75,000 man-hours per year. Škoda TVC focuses on repeated single-piece production or small series production of parts and structural units, including assembly for:
- railway technology
- machine tools
- energy industry
